From March to May, I’ve been doing in-person events and loving the reception from folks when they find out I’m writing Queer Urban Fantasy/Monster Romance.
At the Texas Burlesque Fest, folks remembered my reading at a January event and instantly said “Hey - you have the dragon fucking books!” (If you’ve read The Saint George Chronicles Vol #2 you probably know what chapter I read).
So because of all the wonderful in-person stuff, and a full-time job, I’m behind on things like the newsletter, and general “what’s next” kinda thing.

Many Mini Projects!
This year, I’ve got three cooperative events I’m writing 15k (or around that) short stories/novellas for. They will all be released between October-December.
The Web of Athena
The first one already has a pre-order up: The Web of Athena is a novella set in and around The Firebaugh resort club and the famous BDSM club The Playground is featured. There’s even a cameo appearance by Ms. Eilidh to kick off the story.
This story features a group of performers who are also led by another demi-goddess, Mx. Beverly. They with the help of their companions help a career-minded accountant find her true source of magic.
It also involves some fun things around suspension of different flavors, scenes, both private and public. Plus, Mx. Beverly is also an arachnid of sorts.
Content Warnings: Spiderwebs (no mass of spiders, just webs everywhere), graphic on-page sex (duh!), betrayal by a crush, light to medium kinks involved or mentioned.

A Kind of Wild Magic
This WIP is nearly finished. I need to do a few more tweaks to the start of it, and then I’ll be happy with it.
It’s going to be part of the Monstrous Cravings Anthology that will focus on Queer Monster romance. There will be three anthologies total, but I’m only going to be in one of them.
The story will be a gap story from the Dr. Mason series. This one will feature Dorothea and Sydney 2.0.
Some of you have asked what happened to Sydney at the end of book two. This will answer that, and a little more. There will be a time jump between book two and book three of the Dr. Mason series, and this little story will cover a lot of what happens in that jump.
Not only will it be released with the anthology sometime in the November/December timeframe, I’ll also have it up on Patreon (so you might want to sign up for those three months for free to get started :).
Baubles & Silk
This WIP is part of the Tentacles and Tensile series that will be available in December. It’s also a novella story that will take place at The Firebaugh resort and feature two side characters from the resort. Felven and Mx. Beverly. Because apparently they had an affair of sorts. We’ll find out more about Felven and why both these characters found comfort with each other. They are both non-binary, and they both have very unconventional approaches to their own pleasure.
I’m looking forward to writing this - mostly it’s notes right now. I’ll probably start working on this one as soon as I have the rewrites done on the second story.
