If you’ve read any of my dragon-centric books, you already know that most of my dragons are the anytime-anywhere (almost anywhere) types. They love life, and most of them are determined to get as much out of living as they possibly can.
A lot of my character design for dragons works around the idea that they are very hard to kill. They have very few weaknesses. Dragons are mostly my ultimate risk takers. They want to be out in the world, experiencing things. Sometimes their obsession gets in the way, like anyone else with a fixation they can’t quite contain.
In Rare Temptations, a dragon’s curiosity crosses paths with a demi-goddess who has an interesting smell and a lot of knowledge about sex and dating. From there, a season fling starts and they learn a lot from each other.
You can find this wonderful story on sale now, across all platforms until the end of September. If you’d like a paperback copy, you can find this novella along with the cover art and character art in The Mythical Desires Universe Short Stories collection.
Here is a re-post of the character art:
So, not only is Rare Temptations a celebration of Sapphic love, it’s also has bi/pan representation, though it’s never stated explicitly. Eilidh talks about other partners while Francesca is still exploring her sexuality. I’m hoping sometime in the near future, I’ll have a follow up novella for these two that can expand on their relationship even more. Until then, the ebook will always be available.
