Hello Dearies,
I’m happy to report that I’m working on several things at once. It’s always the way it happens. I always hope I can steadily work on something until its finished, but as anyone with a neurospicy brain can tell you, sometimes having several things going can offer an advantage AND a disadvantage.
My hope is that it’s more of an advantage at this point as my goal is to make progress on the projects I’m working on. Since focusing on one thing isn’t working all that well, several things it is!
What’s in the pipeline so far:
Dr. Mason Book Two - Currently Called Dr. Mason Never Takes a Holiday I’m about thirteen chapters in and feel like I’m cooking. We’ll see where it ends up.
The Demon’s Thief - This is a new series, or well a rewrite of one I started on Tapas. I’m about twenty chapters into it, and it reads so much better than the original. I’m complete enamored with the characters again and excited about the story development.
SGC Volume Four - called The Knight’s Rescue. I’m four chapters in, and I’m still working on the details but I have a general outline for the book. The beginning is rough, IMO, but I’m pecking away at it.
Magus’ Tempest - This is the second merfolk book. I’ve got an outline going, and I’m hoping you all are ready for this one. It might be my wildest book yet, and that’s saying something.
Hush Hush Project - non MDU series in the works. The first book should be out around 2026? I’ll share more details as things develop.
As the TL;DR seems to be working pretty well, I’m going to keep that going for the newsletters going forward. Thanks for sticking with me!

So I thought I came up with some clever ideas to switch completely to Substack and give subscriptions, set up an ARC team, etc. Only to find out that there is no way to disable copying text from Substack.
Posting a chapter here or there isn’t a big deal, but posting a whole book? Well, that had me a little worried.
Ream Stories is set up to NOT allow copying of posted text, which is great. A lot of web serial sites do this to help protect the content. However, I can’t upgrade anyone from follower to a specific tier, and readers can’t delete their accounts without emailing Ream Stories (annoying!). I can get discount/promo codes, but it’s a process.
I feel stuck. Previously, I gave a lot of my books away as content on Tapas. I did this to figure out if anything I was writing was actually worth people wanting to read.
Since you’re all here, and have maybe read at least one of my books, I’m hoping I’ve proven that.
What I’m struggling with now is giving you all sneak peeks at content, or granting early WIP access to paid subscribers, etc.
Given what I write, the reason I haven’t started a Patreon was because I was afraid that route was being limited. Several authors I know switched to Ream Stories to make sure their readers had access. The platform isn’t perfect, but it was something. Now I understand that Patreon has clarified things around explicit content, and those of us that write spicy content can continue to do so there.
However, because I’m stuck trying to figure out what would work best for YOU my readers, I want your imput. So, I’m going to make it easy. Here’s a poll. If you have comments or other ideas please post them, I’ll definitely be watching and willing to have a discussion.

I’m super excited to have a short story in this anthology. It’s not my normal fair. It’s a contemporary sapphic, bi4bi, kink and BDSM fest that takes place in a college library. Plus there are a ton of other smut-writing authors, all of which will be at the Smut Lover’s convention in September. Super bonus → This year’s anthology proudly supports The Center Orlando and their vital work in Central Florida to help LGBTQ+ folks.
It’s available for preorder now on Amazon, and the print copy will be available for purchase at the convention! If you pick up a copy and want me to sign it, I’ll be happy to!
