Two Years In The Making
Maybe more, but who's counting?
I’m excited about this weekend, and terrified. I have no idea what’s going to happen! I’ve been on panels before, but every single one is different. Recently, I was on the Write Hive Monster Romance panel. We had to keep it PG-13 and I still dropped a “shit” in there. I think it’s the only one. I tend to cuss at will, even when folks tell me I should tone it down for ears. Anyway, I do think it’s a good panel to watch, with a lot of great authors! You can catch the replay here!
As for this Friday, if you RSVP’d already, bless you. If you haven’t and still want to show up, or aren’t sure about it, message me. I’m sure it will be fine. I’m even bringing a cake to celebrate because like the title says - this book has taken me two years to finish and it’s finally done!
Thank you for everyone that has come out to see me at events and bought my books. I can’t tell you enough how that has kept me going this year with everything going on in the world. If you’re in the area of one of these events this weekend, I’ll have The Demon’s Thief books and ebooks available until they sell out!
I’m also restocked on all my backlist as well. The Demon’s Thief is tied into the Mythical Desires Universe, and there are definitely some fun easter eggs in it!
Here’s the info on the next two weekends:
July 18th - Bookish Bazaar - Arlington, TX - 10-2PM - Inclusion Coffee
July 19th - Beyond the Bookshelf - FT. Worth, TX - 12-4PM - Martin House Brewery
July 25th - Romance Book Festival - Guthrie, OK - 6-9PM - A Novel Idea Bookstore
I’m confirming events for August, September and October already. If you want to see me at an event, let me know!
Sales & Giveaways
Disclaimer: If you ever see my books in a promo with other AI Generated Covers, please let me know. I will not stay in promos with GENAI art - either to market or in the covers. I generally check these promos out, but sometimes things get switched up and I don’t see it until I go to post something in my newsletter. I’m very anti-GenAI. Art, Writing, and generally creative pursuits should be left to humans, or sentient beings that desire to make art (because that’s a thing too).
Looking for more vampires?
B.L. Maxwell has what looks to be a very saucy Gay Vampire Romance with some western vibes.
Marlon Byrne was born long ago in a distant country, but for close to a century he’s been buried deep in the ground in the small town of Occident. He’d grown lonely, and the prospect of living out his existence with a mate was too hard to ignore. Which is how he ended up in a grave in the cemetery.
Blake Miller has listened to his grandfather talk about the vampire buried with his treasure of gold for as long as he can remember. One night he enlists his friend Aaron, to finally put those stories to rest.
What they discover that night is far different than either of them imagined. Blake faces a series of unwanted events that he cannot resist and is helpless to ignore. The life he knows is over, but the alternative may cost him more than a little blood.
